Happy Saturday friends! 💗 New post is up on the blog! 🌟 This week is all about at-home workouts again! All you really need to get an effective workout in is your bodyweight and/or some basic fitness equipment! 💪🏽 I’m actually thinking about doing a blog post all about the basic equipment that I have that helps to add a little more intensity to my at-home workouts! If you are looking to purchase some basic equipment and feel this blog post would help you out with that, let me know in the comments below or DM me that way I can start putting it together for you all! 👍🏽 I had a workout planned for Thursday, but my upper back has been bothering me and, instead, I decided to put together a rehab type program to help stretch out my muscles and help them to relax. My upper back is already feeling much better, which means the program I’ve put together is definitely working! *FAVORITE PRODUCT FRIDAY* Happy Friday! 🌿 If you haven’t tasted any @simplemills products, you’re totally missing out! ✨ The first product I had ever tried from Simple Mills was their pancake & waffle mix. I never stopped buying them ever since because this mix is delicious! 🤤 I know it’s pretty easy to make your own pancake mix at home, but I love having this mix on hand because it’s just that much easier! Their mix is almond flour based, has no refined sugars, and is made with simple ingredients. 🙌🏽 My boyfriend can be pretty picky when it comes to cleaner ingredient products replacing the conventional products, but he LOVES this mix too! 💗 It is our weekend tradition to have Simple Mills pancakes for breakfast every Saturday or Sunday with some eggs and bacon. My family also loves this pancake & waffle mix! Simple Mills has made it so much easier for people to enjoy pancakes and waffles again without all the excess sugar and refined flours. 👏🏽 Since their mix is made with nutrient dense ingredients, you don’t feel the need to eat like 10 pancakes at once because they actually fill you! If you ever come across this product, I highly recommend you give it a try! 💕
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! ❤️ New post is up on the blog! 🌟 Today I’m sharing all about my safer skincare routine! I had been using conventional skincare products for YEARS before I came across @primallypure. Conventional skincare products can have so many toxic ingredients that I just don’t feel good about putting onto my skin! I love Primally Pure products because they use natural and organic ingredients that are powerful and effective. 🌿 I’ve been using their products for about 2 years now and have continued to grow my Primally Pure collection. ✨ Their products really provide so much nourishment for my skin! I’ve given some of their products as gifts to my family, both men and women, and they all have their favorite Primally Pure product that they can’t live without! I use their products on the daily as part of my skincare routine. What you put on your body is just as important as what you put in your body! Click on the link in my bio and click on the first tab to check out my safer skincare routine! 💕 If you want to check out any Primally Pure products, click on the link in my bio and click on the Primally Pure tab to learn more! For the month of February, every order will include a free flower bath packet! 🌸
Happy Wednesday! ✨ At the beginning of the week, I was craving some super comforting chili and garlic rosemary dinner rolls since it’s been cold out lately! I decided to make the @nomnompaleo instant pot paleo chili and it came out soooo good! 👏🏽 To bulk it up a little, I ended up adding in some cubed butternut squash and cauliflower rice to the chili! I added in the butternut squash to cook with the chili and added in the frozen cauliflower rice once the chili was all done. It ended up making a bunch for just the two of us, so I left a portion in the fridge for me to enjoy for lunch the rest of the week and froze the rest for later! 🙌🏽 To make the dinner rolls, I used the @simplemills artisan bread mix and added in some granulated garlic and dried rosemary to the mix! It’s the best! 😍 My entire family is obsessed with these dinner rolls and they go crazy whenever I make some for them! You know what makes these dinner rolls taste just that much more delicious? Spreading a little @iloveghee traditional ghee on the dinner rolls! I’ve eaten this meal for three days straight and I’m not even mad about it because you can never go wrong with chili, dinner rolls, ghee, and avo! 🥑 . Don’t forget to check out my IG stories to vote for what you want to win in a giveaway! 😄 Also, Beth’s Wholesome Kitchen now has a Pinterest page! New recipe is up on the blog! 🌟 Honestly, this shouldn’t even be called a recipe because it’s just that simple. 🙈 This simple meat sauce pairs perfectly with some @cappellos paleo fettuccine, zucchini noodles, or roasted veggies! Valentine’s Day is coming up in two days and I know what I’ll be making for dinner. ❤️ One of my bf’s favorite meals ever is this simple meat sauce with paleo fettuccine. 🍝 He’s actually been the designated meat sauce with fettuccine chef here at our place ever since he realized how easy it was to make! This actually says a lot about how easy this recipe is because, not even gonna lie, he’s not that versed in the kitchen (love you babe!). 🙊 If you’re still looking for something quick and easy to make this Valentine’s Day, give this simple meat sauce recipe a try! If you want to be extra fancy and are not doing a Whole30, I highly recommend serving it on top of some Cappello’s fettuccine. If you’re doing a Whole30, you can totally serve this on some zucchini noodles. Click on the link in my bio to check out this recipe! 💕 Also, I have some fun and exciting news over on my IG stories! 😄 Don’t forget to go and vote! ✨
Happy Monday! ✨ Ya’ll, I just haven’t been feeling like driving to the gym lately! I think it might be because of the cold weather. It’s all good though because you don’t need a gym membership to get a good workout in! 🙌🏽 All I used for today’s workout is a mat and a 20 lb. kettlebell. You could totally complete this workout with just your bodyweight if you wanted to! I usually do workouts that require completing multiple circuits, but not today! I decided to complete a ladder type workout. 💪🏽 There are so many different ways that you can design a ladder workout, but the way I designed mine today involved 6 different exercises. The first exercise starts with 60 repetitions and the last exercise ends in 10 repetitions. I was able to complete 5 of the exercises without having to break them up into smaller repetitions. For the burpees, I decided to complete 3 sets of 10 repetitions because I’m not too great at them right now! I’m working on them and know I’ll keep getting better and better! 👏🏽 Give this workout a try if you want to get in an effective and quick workout! 😄 Remember, don’t be afraid to take a breather whenever you need it! #bwkfitness . Quick warm up: 100 jump rope hops 10 arm circles (forward and backward) 10 squats 10 modified push-ups . Workout: 60 opposite ankle taps 50 bicycles 40 KB squat clean thruster 30 burpees 20 V push-ups 10 up down plank . 10 minute cool-down/stretch
*GROCERY HAUL* Happy Sunday!✨ This week, I decided to purchase some @sietefoods lime chips and lots of @cappellos products! I also had to buy @eatingevolved caramel sea salt coconut butter cups because they’re just the best! 🍫 Not even gonna lie that I placed a big order of chocolate and coconut butter cups on their website because I always have to be stocked with EE chocolate! 🙊 I know #nationalpizzaday was yesterday and I’m a day late, but I’ll be making pizza for dinner today! 🍕 I’ll be using Cappellos naked crust, @organicvalley pepperoni, @cucinaantica pizza sauce, and @miyokoscreamery smoked dairy-free mozzarella! I ended up returning the classic mozzarella because the ingredients were different from what I remember, so I exchanged it for the smoked mozzarella instead! I got some @tradmedicinals tea and this @bitchinsauce green onion dip to try. My bf said that he’s been really craving some trail mix. Instead of buying an already made trail mix, I made some trail mix at home for him! 💕 I just used a mix of different nuts, dried fruit, and @equalexchange chocolate chips. I decided to also purchase the @elmhurst1925 hazelnut milk because I’ve been dying to try their other unsweetened nut milks! Everything else is just my usual stuff, stuff to restock, and some stuff I need for recipes I’ll be making this week. I’ll be making an instant pot paleo chili recipe from @nomnompaleo and the super popular @40aprons Whole30 double double animal style In N Out burger recipe! 🤤 I’ll be wrapping mine in lettuce and my bf will be having his in these @angelicbakehouse sprouted hamburger buns. 🍔 I’ve been really craving the @simplemills dinner rolls, so I purchased their artisan bread mix! My bf really loves these @culinayogurt, so I bought him the strawberry rose fIavor and got myself the plain flavor! I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend! 💗
New post is up on the blog! 🌟 This week I decided to do all my workouts at home! You really don’t need a gym membership to get a workout in! 💪🏽 I incorporated an AMRAP workout, HIIT workout, circuit workout, and core workout this week! My knee has not been feeling too great, so by Friday I decided I wanted to just do something really low impact that way I don’t aggravate my knee even more. Don’t underestimate this low impact core workout! Trust me, you’ll feel sore the next day for sure. 🙌🏽 Click on the link in my bio to check out my weekly workouts post!💕 . I’ll be spending my weekend bundled up in my house next to the fireplace trying to stay warm! 💨 Any weekend plans for you?
*FAVORITE PRODUCT FRIDAY* Happy Friday! ✨ Today, I had my third interview and really felt like I did well! There is only one more interview left, which I’m hoping I’ll be moving on to! 😬 It is SO COLD here in San Antonio, so of course I ended up making myself a rooibos chai tea latte with a scoop of collagen peptides and cashew milk. Y’all, this @elmhurst1925 cashew milk is so👏🏽 freaking👏🏽 good👏🏽! In my opinion, it is the best store-bought cashew milk I have ever tasted. I don’t usually recommend something when I’ve just tried it a couple of days ago, but it’s that good! It’s creamy and has a subtle sweetness from the cashews. Guess what? There’s literally only 2 ingredients! ✌🏽 This is probably going to be my go-to brand of cashew milk from now on because I honestly can’t get enough of it. 🙌🏽 I’m probably going to make some hot chocolate tonight using this cashew milk to sip on while I sit by the fireplace!🔥 They just started selling it at my local @sprouts, which I’m pretty excited for! They also make unsweetened hazelnut milk and unsweetened walnut milk and I want to taste them both! I bet the hazelnut milk would taste sooooo good in a homemade hot chocolate! 🤤 If you ever come across this cashew milk, I highly recommend you give it a try!💕
