Whipped Coffee

Whipped coffee was all over Instagram last year! I decided to give it a try for myself and I just can’t get enough of it now! It’s absolutely delicious and really simple to make. You only need 3 ingredients. Yes, you read that right. Just 3 ingredients! This recipe serves 2 people (or 3-4 if using small cups). We use 12-16 oz cups, so if you’re using smaller cups you’ll probably need less whipped coffee. You can either use a hand whisk, hand mixer, or stand mixer. It’ll take longer to whip up if you’re using a hand whisk. I usually use a hand mixer and it works awesome! This version of whipped coffee is sweetened naturally with honey, but it totally works with coconut sugar and maple syrup too. Remember that you can always add more or less sweetener depending on what you like!

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp organic instant coffee
  • 1.5 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp hot water

Directions:

1. Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix until the mixture is nice and fluffy! It takes me about 1-2 minutes using a hand mixer.

2. Fill 2 12-16 oz cups with ice and add in your milk of choice. I like to use a mix of vanilla nutpods and cashew milk.

3. Spoon the whipped coffee on top and mix together!
