Turmeric Latte

I can’t believe it’s already April! I know I say that every month, but it just feels like every month goes by so quickly! It’s been a little chilly here in San Antonio lately and I’ve been making myself some turmeric lattes every now and then. I used to be really unsure about turmeric lattes because turmeric was kind of intense smelling for me! I randomly decided that I wanted to give it a try and am so glad that I did. IT’S DELICIOUS! I’ve been making turmeric latte’s for a long time now and I love them. Every time I’m feeling like I might be getting sick, I make sure to whip up a turmeric latte for me to help boost my immune system. I don’t add any sweetener to mine because I don’t feel like it needs it, which makes this drink Whole30 compliant! If you prefer to add sweetener, you can totally do that!

I use my homemade cashew milk recipe for the base of this turmeric latte. The combination of the cashew milk and the coconut butter make for this creamy and luscious latte! I also add in some collagen peptides to add in some protein. The recipe has some black pepper, but I promise you can’t taste it! It’s such a tiny amount and just allows for better absorption of the turmeric. I used ground turmeric for this recipe because I always have it on hand, but you can use fresh turmeric if you’d prefer. This latte also tastes just as delicious iced if you prefer that! You need to give this recipe a try!
