Agua Mineral con Limón Y Sal

Agua mineral con limón y sal (mineral water with lime and salt) is one of my boyfriend’s most favorite drinks to make! His mom would make this drink for him all the time and he continued to make it when he moved here to San Antonio. I wasn’t really interested in giving this drink a try and was never really convinced that it was actually good. I randomly decided to take a sip out of my boyfriend’s drink one day and it was SO GOOD! He prepares himself this drink multiple times a week. The cool thing about this recipe is that it is very customizable! I use key limes, sea salt, and my favorite mineral water, Top Chico, for this recipe! I’m providing measurements here, but I encourage you to taste as you go and add more or less depending on your preference.

This drink is not only delicious, but may come in handy for those days where you feel you might have had too much to drink. Alcohol is very dehydrating! Drinking this concoction may help you rehydrate by providing you with some vitamin C and minerals. If you are feeling dehydrated, not because you got a little too crazy the night before, this drink is worth a try! I also like this drink as a way of replacing an alcoholic drink because it’s honestly just that good. Now go make yourself some aqua mineral con limón y sal!
