If you don’t already know this, I am a major chocoholic! Of course, my smoothie of choice will always be a chocolate smoothie over any other kind of smoothie (because chocolate is life!). When I just want a piece of chocolate as a snack or little dessert, I always reach for some Eating Evolved chocolate.
But, when I don’t have time to fix myself a plate of food, I make my banana cacao smoothie and it’s so simple yet delicious, filling, and very nutrient-dense! It’s filled with healthy fats, protein from the collagen peptides, carbs from the banana, and spinach as the veggie component. When I make smoothies, I always make sure to include some healthy fats. If I don’t include them, I will get super hungry hangry in about 30 minutes and will feel like I need to eat something again.
This smoothie is so creamy, chocolatey, and slightly sweet with a hint of cinnamon flavor. My boyfriend introduced me to putting cinnamon in all the things and now I’m hooked! I pretty much put cinnamon in everything now-a-days. By everything, I mean smoothies, coffee concoctions, matcha lattes, golden milk lattes, and other delicious drinks. I’m pretty heavy handed with the cinnamon because it has so many health benefits! Feel free to sub out, add in, or leave out any ingredients to customize it to your preference.
